LEAD ANALYST – OPEN TEXT LEARNING & CONTENT MANAGEMENT CENTER OF EXCELLENCE

The Opportunity

Lead Analyst on the Learning & Content Management Centers of Excellence team (LCM COE) primarily focused on the strategy and technical support of the OpenText content management environment as Company leverages existing capabilities and technology to enable business objectives.   This position requires in-depth knowledge and experience and uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business processes to improve products or services. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.  Includes technical support of the existing content management framework and implementation of new capabilities.   Works independently; receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for team members with less experience; may direct and help prioritize the work of other team members. 

 

 

The Responsibilities

  • Maintaining positive relationships with business area subject matter experts through teamwork and communication.
  • Providing sound solutions to complex business problems surrounding Company’s Content Management environment
  • Leading and participating in the design, configuration and testing of projects related to Content Management
  • Technical expert and primary support of the existing Open Text content management environment with proficiency in one or more of the following areas:
    • Content Server
      • Object Importer / Exporter
      • WebReports
      • SmartView and GUI configurations
    • Archive Center (Archive Server)
    • Directory Services
    • InfoArchive
    • Contracts (Contract Center)
    • SQL Query Language
    • API and RESTFUL API Implementations

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 2 + years of relevant experience in the implementation and technical support of OpenText enterprise content management systems in one or more of the following areas:
    • Content Server
      • Object Importer / Exporter
      • Web Reports
      • SmartView and GUI configurations
    • Archive Center (Archive Server)
    • Directory Services
    • InfoArchive
    • Contracts (Contract Center)
    • SQL Query Language
    • API and RESTFUL API Implementations
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving skills
  • Technical experience with one or more content management solutions
  • Computer skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word), Proficiency JAVA and SQL
