Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist with the timely completion of the consolidation and financial reporting package for the global asset management business
• Assist with continued implementation of Hyperion Financial Management and ongoing maintenance and improvements
• Communicate and collaborate with internal business clients to jointly identify business system and infrastructure change requirements
• Support business requirement definitions, process design, process implementation, organizational change and timing for impacted processes across all work teams
• Effectively assess existing functions and processes, drive efficiencies through improvements, and use knowledge and experience to develop innovative automated solutions
• Test and analyze financial information and transactions to ensure data integrity and appropriate treatment
• Work collaboratively with peers to manage resources and improve overall service delivered to internal and external client groups
• Act as a liaison between core IT and Finance to address system implementations, enhancements, troubleshoot production issues and generally help Finance staff use technology tools more efficiently and effectively
• Maintain knowledge, familiarity, and documentation of business processes to enhance and promote sound internal control practices
• Undertake and manage special projects and other reporting needs as required

• B.S. or B.A. in accounting required
• CPA (nice to have, not required)
• 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience
• Consolidation accounting  or financial reporting experience
• Experience with enterprise level general ledger and reporting systems (PeopleSoft and Hyperion Financial Management experience a must have) 
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel

• Public accounting experience preferred
• Solid understanding of the financial consolidation process and reporting
• Produces clear, accurate, and well-organized documentation to support work performed
• Highly organized, detail oriented, have a sound work ethic and be comfortable working in a fast paced, demanding environment
• Effective problem solving skills with ability to think creatively –identify, analyze and propose solutions to various issues
• Self-motivated with thoughtful execution skills and able to work unsupervised. Successful candidate will be able to manage own time, prioritize to meet tight deadlines and know when to escalate.
• Outstanding communication skills, proven ability to work as an effective team player and ability to collaborate across functions and businesses 
• Ability to work on data from various sources and manage multiple projects at a time
• Ability to maintain positive, professional demeanor in the midst of deadlines, competing priorities and other challenges

Top three critical skillsets or technologies needed:
   Skill #1: Experience with HFM or comparable reporting system
   Skill #2: Accounting degree required, CPA/Public accounting experience preferred
   Skill #3: Consolidation accounting or financial reporting experience
